I wore a pretty casual outfit. The vest is thrifted and DIY studded. The feather earrings, I made myself. The top is from Pacsun and my black pants are from Macy's. Shoes are from American Eagle two falls ago. I love the makeup that I created this morning so I decided to do it over again and record it. The tutorial on this look is HERE.
I really don't have a reasonable excuse for being M.I.A for the past 3 months. I promise I won't neglect my blog like that again. I have been working on my Youtube Channel in the mean time, please check it out.
This month I have been trying to cut back on spending. I don't have a lot of new favorites this month. All this means is that next months favorites will be jam packed with new goodies =]
"We will live longer than I willWe will be better than I was We can cross rivers with our will we can do better than I can so dance while you can Dance cause you must" – Lykke Li
My obsession with Lykke Li is growing. I absolutely love her first and second album. I think that artists that write there own music (amazing lyrics) and put as much time and effort into their music, like she does, deserves more recognition.
I'm loving this fishtail trend. My hair is not as long as I would like right now, but i will definitely try a little side fishtail braid soon. You will probably see me rocking one in an upcoming OOTD. This style creates a pretty bohemian feel, and for some reason I think of mermaids when I look at a fishtail braid. This style would be so pretty with highlights.
I'm LOVING this style. My next hair, I want to be like this, most definitely. I want the ends to be a light brown and have rows of peachy corals and blonds on the ends framing my face ( bang area ).
Here are some examples of this hair trend spreading around:
I really want to try out Lime Crime eye shadows. $14 a pot is a little expensive for my taste. Everyone is raving about the products though, ahh I just might have to hop on this rave wave.
Magic Dust Eye Shadow in Diva, Medusa, and Troubadour.
When I went to a makeup artist class in January, the instructor told us that almost all eyeshadows are made with the same indgredients. The packaging quality + the brand name = the high price.
