DIY: Beaded Bracelets
So I was rambling through my room and found a jewelry kit full of beads and paper thread. It is my mom's, she used to make book thongs and sell them. I decided to make some bracelets with the materials I found. I ended up making 5 bracelets, which is cool because they were free, and I spend a lot of money on bracelets. I love them.
I simply took about 12 inches of paper thread and made a loop with the first bead inside as the toggle. Then i randomly added beads until it was enough to comfortably fit my wrist. I made an empty loop at the end.
I encourage people to look around their house for DIY projects. It feels good when you make something new and didn't have to spend any money.

It was 91 outside today, it was horrible. I hate the heat, if it was cold/chilly all year I would be perfectly fine. I was outside most of the day today. I got these new shorts from American Eagle yesterday. I really like them, American Eagle has a really nice summer collection and in stores their jewelry section has been updated with fashion books and Aerie iems. It's worth checking out.

OOTD: Open Mind Under the Gray Sky

Today was a dull day just like the weather. I just wanted to sleep all day. The dress I am wearing is actually a maxi skirt (see in previous thrift post). I cut about 3 inches of the bottom off and added a skinny belt, I also got the belt at a thrift store. The cardigan is Forever 21, and the shoes are Rack Room. Today was the first day I wore an all over floral print, it's interesting and I think I'll try to get some more floral pieces in the future.

Hello There....
I haven't posted in so long. I've had a very eventful weekend, to say the least. Don't want to get into too much details about that though. Shit gets crazy sometimes. I feel as if my blog needs one theme. I want to get better at this blogging thing, it seems to me that my blog is all over the place. Somewhat like myself. This summer I plan on dedicated a lot of time to my blog. They say hard work pays off. Random thought: I want to go shopping. In actuality that thought is not very random. It is actually pretty reoccurring. I'm trying to save up for other things though =/ Anyways, I thought I'd end this post with some pictures that have been scattering around Tumblr lately. Pictures are the best form of inspiration to me.

Thirft Store Finds
I love thrift store shopping. Finding pieces for such a great bargain and being able to use your creativity to make it your own and incorporate it into your own style, is great. I love finding things that I can turn into something else, or that is a hot trend right now. The floral maxi skirt I plan on turning into a mini dress and I plan on reconstructing the black T-Shirt.

Outfit of the Day: She Wolf
Sorry that I have not been posting a lot lately, I've just been super busy. This is an outfit I wore this past friday. My boyfriend and I went to a Relay for Life event along with my best friend and her date. It was a nice day. It got a little chilly so I just put on a long wide striped blue and gray button down cardigan to stay a little warm but still look cute.

Fishtail Braid Lust

I'm loving this fishtail trend. My hair is not as long as I would like right now, but i will definitely try a little side fishtail braid soon. You will probably see me rocking one in an upcoming OOTD. This style creates a pretty bohemian feel, and for some reason I think of mermaids when I look at a fishtail braid. This style would be so pretty with highlights.
